Masquerade of Sole cruises Mediterranean
waters between May and September.
With cruising grounds stretching from Gibraltar to
Greece, we have the ability to accommodate almost any itinerary be it
the Balearics, Sardinia, Cote d' Azur, Amalfi coast, Capri and Ischia,
Croatia and Venice, Turkey and Greece.
Pretty much all of it in fact!
In the winter months, we cross the Atlantic to the
warm waters of the Caribbean. We have arranged many different vacations
for our guests, taking us to the Virgin Islands, St Barts and Antigua,
down to St Lucia, Mustique and all the way round to Mexico.
Itineraries are created on an individual basis in consultation with
our guests.
To help you get started planning your trip, here are
some of our recent trips.

7 days, Côte d’Azur - For
several decades, this fabulous coastline has attracted superyachts and
their guests in force. With all the style and panache of the Principality
of Monaco, its famous casino and Grand Prix, to Cannes with its International
Film Festival, and the playgrounds of St Tropez and nearby Pamplonne
Beach, the region has carved itself a place in every superyacht’s
log.
However, it’s also the perfect gateway to some
enchanting rural villages and the peaceful countryside of Provence with
its sedate pace of life. Mountain walks, cliff top restaurants, outdoor
sports are all within striking distance of any of our ports of call.

St Lucia, St Vincent and the Grenadines -
With so many islands, perfect beaches, sheltered coves, and
friendly towns, it’s hard to pinpoint what makes a vacation in
this island chain so unique. Masquerade has been cruising here for many
seasons and has made many friends along the way who help us to make
every trip very special.
Whether you want a barbeque on a private island, a
steel pan orchestra for an on-board concert, a fish caught to order,
or an inland trip in air-conditioned luxury, the crew of Masquerade
can arrange it.
| Day
1 |
Board Masquerade at the South end of St Lucia.
Vieux Fort is 10 mins by taxi from Hewanorra International Airport
making for a swift getaway. St Vincent is 4 hrs underway. |
| Day 2 |
Customs clearance at the village of Wallilabou
– the film setting for Pirates of the Caribbean. St Vincent
is a mix of rain-forest and rocky coastline descending South to
a large sheltered lagoon. The locals are curious and friendly, often
stopping by the yacht, bringing coconuts, bananas and grapefruits
to sell. |
| Day 3 |
Bequia is a lively little island and town, rarely
visited without a yacht. It has great diving, and a wealth of artistic
talent from scrimshaw to batik. Restaurants and bars are in abundance,
serving local dishes and Caribbean rums. |
| Day 4 |
A 2 hr passage further South brings us to the
Mustique anchorage. A well known celebrity haunt, with many famous
actors and musicians eating at Basils bar, Firefly or Cotton Club.
Guests often rent a couple of motorised golf carts and drive around
the island for a fun couple of hours. |
| Day 5 |
The Tobago Cays are one of the Caribbean’s
most perfect beach settings. There is a good reef for snorkeling
and diving, and a choice of white sand beaches for whiling away
the afternoon, or revving up for an sunset barbeque with the crew
looking after you every step of the way. |
| Day 6 |
Petit St Vincent is one of the most prestigious
resorts in the Caribbean. Sheltered by coral reef and beautiful
beaches, good snorkeling and diving sites are everywhere. |
| Day 7 |
9 hrs underway overnight to get back to St Lucia.
When you wake up in the morning, the spectacular Piton Mountains
will be towering above the yacht. Anchored by the 5 start Jalousie
Hilton hotel, it is one of the most idyllic bays in the world. |
| Day 8 |
Time for a last morning swim and sun worship
as the crew pack for you.
Masquerade can cruise back to the south of the Island to the airport,
or we can arrange a 10 minute helicopter flight directly from the
Hilton. |
